This release brings the AI assistant to ioTORQ EMIS, changes how charts handle missing data, and clears up a handful of smaller issues along the way.

Ask your data questions with AI
You can now connect ioTORQ EMIS to an AI assistant such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT and ask it questions about your data in plain English, no need to open a dashboard and dig for the answer yourself.
For example, you could ask:
"What was total electricity use on Line 2 last week, and how does it compare to target?"
"Show me any alerts triggered on the boiler house in the last 24 hours."
"What's our water consumption trend for this site over the last 3 months?"
The assistant can look up readings for any date range, compare actuals against targets, and check recent alerts. Questions that would normally mean opening several dashboards now come back as a single answer.
It connects using your own ioTORQ EMIS login, so it only ever sees the sites and data you're already allowed to access, nothing more. If something is outside your permissions, it tells you which permission is needed rather than simply refusing.

Line charts now break where data is missing
Previously, a gap in readings was drawn as a straight line from the last reading to the next one, which could make a sensor outage look like a smooth trend. Dashboard line charts now break the line at the gap, so missing data reads as missing.
A genuinely measured zero still shows as zero, and KPI figures, matrix cells, pie charts and gauges are unchanged.
Improvements and Maintenance
Fixed an issue where the Action report's Gantt chart could show months outside the date range you selected. The timeline now covers exactly the range you pick, and an action that starts before or ends after that range fills neatly to the edge of the chart while still showing its real dates when you hover over it.
Expected Annual Savings in the Action Tracker now shows with its currency (e.g.
CA$30,000.00rather than30000.00), sorts by value rather than as text, and displays correctly in French.Variables that are still in use can no longer be deleted by accident. If a variable is used by a target, a calculation or a dashboard, you'll now see a message naming exactly what depends on it, with a link to each one. This applies throughout the application.
Fixed a number of smaller interface issues affecting the organization tree, chart legends, dashboard matrix timeframes, and column sorting.
