Release Date: 08/07/2024
We are pleased to announce the latest version of ioTORQ EMIS, which introduces a new feature and several improvements to the system.
What's New?
Configure schematic variables as status indicators
Many variables within our platform use binary values (0/1) to indicate the status of devices, such as a valve being open or closed. When used in schematics, this numeric representation can sometimes be unclear or less intuitive, particularly when monitoring multiple devices or systems.
With the new status indicator feature, you can now configure these binary variables to be displayed as easily understandable ON/OFF indicators instead of 0/1. Additionally, you have the flexibility to customize the labels according to your preferences (e.g., Open/Closed, Active/Inactive).

Other improvements
- Calculate virtual variable statistics the same way as statistics for automatic variables are calculated.
- Automatic variables do not consider missing data points when calculating statistics. Virtual variables now does the same. You will notice a higher mean than what was seen in previous releases.
- Confine tooltips in graphs within the graph and do not allow labels to be cut-off.
- Validate dashboard and widget names and display error messages for better user experience.
