What's New?
Alert "Reminder" Notifications
If an alert spans multiple weeks or months, our current system will only send a notification when the alert is triggered. We understand this prevents users from having visibility over unresolved issues at their facility.
To prevent this issue, this new release modifies the alerting system so that the configured notifications (email, Microsoft Teams) will be resent if the alert has been ongoing for at least 3 days.
Additional improvements with custom escalation policies are in our roadmap, and we welcome any suggestions on this topic.
Other Improvements
In the alerting system:
- Improve error handling and input validation for the alert configuration form
- Reduce false positive alerts by ignoring data dropouts when comparing variable and target data
In dashboards:
- Chart items in public dashboards that use the "prior complete shift" timeframe no longer include an extra minute of data.
- The "Prior complete shift" timeframe now works with variables in schematics.
