What's New?

Introducing Step Variables

One of the four data types used to process raw data into consumption values in the ioTORQ EMIS system, step variables are suitable for data that updates in discrete steps, where the latest reading is always the definitive measurement (e.g., the current status of an operation, stepwise outputs in industrial machines).

For a step variable, the consumption value is equal to the most recent raw data point.

A new option has been added to the Data Type dropdown on the automatic variable edit page to enable or create step variables.
