Application Page Redesign
The "All Applications" page has been revamped to enhance the user experience, improving accessibility and visibility of applications and settings within EMIS. This update streamlines navigation and ensures commonly used features are more accessible.
New Setting Menu
- New "settings" menu in the left sidebar and top-right menu for easier access to user and role management
- The "data importer" configuration was moved to the settings page
Sidebar Accessibility Enhancements
- Modules that users do not have access to are now disabled in the sidebar, avoiding confusion with unavailable options.
Action Tracker Relocation and Application menu
- The action tracker has been relocated under the "Applications" menu, as it is less frequently used and no longer requires its icon.
- Users now have direct sidebar access to applications like the Schematic Editor, enabled for their accounts.
Direct Access to UBM Module
- A direct access icon for the UBM module was added to the sidebar for quick and easy navigation
Enhanced Variable Data view
Improved the variable data display by showing timestamps in the user's timezone, while maintaining copy-paste compatibility.
Improve Dashboard Sharing Functionality
We updated the "Share" option for public dashboards to display both Private (internal users) and Public (external users) URLs, with "Copy" buttons and tooltips explaining their purpose.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved organization selection issues and form errors during new organization creation
- Fixed creation of false exceptions for virtual variables with missing child variable data
- Fixed an issue where error messages were not shown when selecting both parent and child organizations on the User Role page
- Improved form validation with mandatory field indicators on the user profile page
- Standardized hyperlink styling across the application
