What's New?

Data Quality Monitoring

Accurate energy and resource management depends on reliable data. With our latest update to ioTORQ EMIS, users can now proactively manage data integrity by configuring Data Quality Monitors.

These monitors enable users to:

• Set up customized monitoring for specific variables.

• Automatically detect and alert users of anomalies or inconsistencies in data.

• Receive timely email notifications whenever data quality issues are identified.

By ensuring high-quality data collection, users can maintain accurate reporting and confidently drive operational decisions.

The types of anomalies that can be monitored are:

• Dropouts: Extended periods without values due to data not being received
• Flatlines: Instances where meters stop recording new data and instead repeat the last value
• Out of range / abnormal value: This could mean that there is a sensor calibration issue

New settings are available for each variable to define what "bad quality" means:
