Role management allows administrative users to edit pre-existing roles or create new roles in the ioTORQ system. The role that a user is assigned determines the level of permissions and access to different system resources that user has. A user with a role restricted to a particular organization will only be able to access the dashboards, presentations, and variables stored within that organization.
Permissions can be further restricted for this role by defining the level of access/control for each resource. Individualized access to create dashboards or edit variables, for example, can be given to different types of users in an organization.
